Stichting Nevalak is the controller of the personal data described below.
Website visits (Google Analytics, only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site, for example which pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what device and browser you use. We use this to understand which content is useful and to improve the website. If you reject cookies, or do not respond to the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is collected.
Messages you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we use your name, email address and message to reply to you. The contact form is delivered to us through Formspree, which processes what you type in the form on our behalf. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Volunteer and partner forms. Links on this site lead to forms hosted by Google Forms. What you enter there is processed by Google and used by us only to follow up on your application or offer.
Donations. Bank transfers reach our bank account with the details your bank provides (such as name, account number and any message). Donations through GoFundMe are handled by GoFundMe under its own privacy policy; we receive the information it shares with us. We keep donation records as required by Dutch tax and ANBI rules.
This website sets no cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. The only cookies come from Google Analytics, and only after you click Accept:
To remember your choice, the site stores a small entry (nevalak_cookie_consent) in your browser's local storage. It contains only the word "granted" or "denied".
You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings. Choosing Reject also removes the analytics cookies this site has set.
We do not sell personal data. Analytics data is processed by Google, which may transfer data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in Google's own terms. We share data with others only where the law requires it or where they provide a service to us, such as our bank and our website host.
We keep messages and form responses only as long as needed to deal with them and for our records. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account. Donation records are kept for the period required by Dutch tax rules.
The website is served over HTTPS. We limit access to personal data to the board members and volunteers who need it for their role, and we use Microsoft 365 accounts for the foundation's email and files. If we use AI tools, we follow our AI Policy.
Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of use, or a copy of the data you gave us. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before. Email us at info@nevalakfoundation.org and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
We may update this statement. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
