Our Story

Dedicated to Northern Ghana Since 2020

The Nevalak Foundation (Stichting Nevalak) was founded on 27 July 2020 by passionate individuals in the Netherlands with deep connections to Lungni, a community in the Nanumba South District of Northern Ghana.

Lungni faces significant challenges: limited access to quality education, inadequate healthcare, and widespread poverty. We work hand in hand with local community members and leaders to address these through carefully planned, community-driven projects.

All board and volunteer positions are unpaid — ensuring every donated euro goes directly to the people we serve.

Our Policy

How We Work

Education Policy

✓Support for talented but needy children aged 6–25 who are motivated and whose guardians cannot fund their education
✓Education support to less-endowed schools in less-privileged communities
✓Scholarships from primary school all the way to tertiary/university level

Community Policy

✓Community development projects determined through deliberation with local leaders
✓Healthcare infrastructure and equipment for under-resourced medical facilities
✓All board and volunteer positions are unpaid — only project expenses reimbursed

ANBI Status — Certified Dutch Charity

The Nevalak Foundation holds ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) status in the Netherlands. Qualifying donations may be tax-deductible for Dutch donors.
