Stichting Nevalak is registered by the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) as an ANBI, a public benefit organisation.
ANBI stands for Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling. The Belastingdienst grants this status to organisations that work almost entirely for the public good. For donors in the Netherlands, it means your gift to Nevalak can reduce your income tax.
One-off or irregular donations are deductible from your income tax once your total gifts for the year exceed a threshold of 1% of your threshold income, with a minimum of €60. The deductible amount is capped at 10% of your threshold income.
Keep proof of your donation, such as your bank statement.
If you commit to giving a fixed amount every year for at least five years, recorded in a written agreement, the full amount is deductible with no threshold.
