The Nevalak Foundation (Stichting Nevalak) was founded on 27 July 2020 and is based in the Netherlands. We are a non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting education and community development in disadvantaged communities.
Our primary area of operation is Lungni — a community in the Nanumba South District, Northern Ghana. We work hand in hand with the local community to address critical challenges in education and healthcare.
Supporting students from primary through university
Building the Lungni Community Clinic
Projects determined with the community
Building for generations to come
Every project we run addresses a critical need in the Lungni community and beyond
Quality education transforms lives. We provide study materials, scholarship support, and financial assistance from primary school all the way to university.
We are constructing the Lungni Community Clinic — a full primary care facility to serve over 5,000 residents who currently have no accessible healthcare.
From sewing machines and computers to wheelchairs and ultrasound machines, we equip communities with the tools to develop and thrive sustainably.
When illness strikes in Lungni — a mother in labour, a feverish child, an emergency — the nearest care requires a long motorbike ride. We are changing this.
"In Lungni, a mother should not have to ride a motorcycle at night to find a nurse for her sick child. This clinic changes that."
Residents the clinic will serve in Lungni and surrounding communities

In September 2024, community leaders, elders, and Foundation members gathered for the official groundbreaking of the clinic construction.
I am most grateful to the Nevalak Foundation for the donation of medical equipment to this facility. In my 10 years of practice in this medical facility, the facility has never seen nor used some of the equipment donated by the Nevalak Foundation.
Lungni community is privileged to be a beneficiary of the Nevalak Foundation's activities and we do not take it lightly. We will work closely with the foundation to ensure projects are executed to the benefit of our community.
Your donation goes directly to scholarships, clinic construction, and community development in Northern Ghana.
