About Us

Touching Lives Through Education & Community Development

The Nevalak Foundation (Stichting Nevalak) was founded on 27 July 2020 and is registered in the Netherlands. We were officially registered in Ghana in 2025, though we began our work in Ghana from day one.

We work hand in hand with local community members and leaders in the Nanumba South District of Northern Ghana. All board and volunteer positions are unpaid, every donated euro goes directly to the communities we serve.

Education

500 Students Supported Since 2021

From exercise books and pens to full university scholarships, removing every barrier between a child and their education.

Road to B.E.C.E (2021)

Study materials donated to 500 students across 7 Junior High Schools in Lungni preparing for their BECE examinations.

SHS Scholarship Scheme, 2022 to 2024

9 students selected from the BECE cohort and given full 3-year SHS scholarships. All 9 successfully completed Senior High School.

University Scholarships, 2025 to Present

3 students, Mbenjo Linda (Nursing), Lapon Mayi Isaac (Biological Sciences), and Obed Mamalbe Bitadiku (Engineering), are now supported at university. Additionally, Raymond Kwame Nagbija was supported for his MSc in the Netherlands in 2022.

Lungni Community Clinic, Under Construction

When illness strikes in Lungni, a mother in labour, a feverish child, the nearest proper care is far away. We are changing this. The clinic will serve 35,000 residents.
