Update on Donation – Nevalak Foundation

Sir Winston Churchill once said, “Healthy citizens are the greatest asset any country can have.” The building of healthy citizens to become assets for nations, therefore, starts from the basic units of family, and community. The Lungni Health facility (clinic) over a while has not been in the best shape in terms of availability of essential medical equipment, inadequate health personnel, lack of financial resources, lack of incentives, and inadequate accommodation facilities for health personnel, just to mention a few. As part of the vision of the Nevalak foundation and through the support of our partners, donors and volunteers,  We are excited to announce to our cherished audience, of the Nevalak foundation that Phase II of the Good Health, Good Life Project was completed on the 23^rd July 2022. The project seeks to provide medical equipment that is lacking in the clinic to aid medical care and improve the general health of the community.

This clinic provides medical care for about 7 surrounding villages in Lungni and serves about 1500 residents. This equipment provided will therefore serve the entire community as well as surrounding communities.

After a brief engagement with the leaders of the facility, the following items were donated on behalf of the Nevalak Foundation. Present at the donation was the director of health for the facility, opinion leaders, the health committee members of the community, assembly members, presiding members, head teachers, etc.

The items were received by the director of the facility on behalf of the community. They expressed their appreciation to the Nevalak Foundation and its donors for this donation.
